STAS Moulding Deco Rail Picture Hanging System | Hidden Cornice Hanging Rail

STAS Moulding Deco Rail, also known as the Cornice Decoration Rail or Dado Rail Hanging System, is an elegant concealed picture hanging solution designed to remain completely hidden behind decorative mouldings or cornices. This innovative system combines traditional interior styling with modern gallery hanging functionality, allowing artwork and wall decorations to be displayed safely, professionally, and flexibly without damaging walls.

The Deco Rail profile measures 20 mm x 8 mm and is manufactured from thick heavy-duty aluminium for maximum strength and durability. Depending on the installation and artwork configuration, the system supports loads up to 30 kg per metre, while the heavy-duty STAS Decor Rail version can carry up to 45 kg per linear metre, making it ideal for heavier artwork and professional gallery displays.

The rail is fixed directly onto the wall, after which decorative mouldings or cornices can be mounted over the rail using mounting sealant, leaving the hanging system completely concealed from view. This creates a clean, luxurious, and traditional interior finish while still providing full picture hanging flexibility.

The STAS Cobra fitting system allows clear perlon cords or steel cables to be attached from any point along the rail without sliding them in from the end. This makes rearranging artwork fast, easy, and highly convenient compared to traditional hanging systems.

Once installed, pictures can easily be moved left, right, up, or down without repeatedly drilling holes into walls. Multiple pictures can also be displayed vertically on the same cable using additional hooks, or new artwork can be added between existing pictures simply by inserting a new cable into the desired position along the rail.

The STAS Moulding Deco Rail system is suitable for both modern and classical interiors, including newly built properties, renovated homes, galleries, museums, hotels, offices, and heritage buildings.
