Plaster-Rail System

Plaster Rail is a highly discreet and professional picture hanging system designed to be completely integrated into plastered walls for a clean, minimalist finish. Once installed and plastered over, only a very small slot remains visible, making the system almost invisible while still providing a strong and flexible picture hanging solution.

Manufactured from galvanised steel, the Plaster Rail system supports loads up to 20 kg per metre and is suitable for both brick walls and plasterboard installations. The rail profile measures 42 mm along the wall and projects only 11 mm from the surface. Approximately 12 mm of plaster thickness is required to fully conceal the rail within the wall.

This hidden gallery hanging system is widely used in modern homes, museums, galleries, offices, hotels, and new construction projects where a seamless wall finish is required. Once installed, pictures can easily be repositioned left, right, up, or down without drilling new holes or damaging walls.

The system also allows multiple pictures to hang vertically on the same cable using additional hooks. New cables can easily be added between existing displays, making it ideal for changing artwork layouts and professional gallery arrangements.

Installation is simple and effective. The galvanised steel rail is fixed directly onto the bare wall before plastering. For plasterboard walls, a groove is created between two plasterboard panels so the rail can be recessed neatly into the wall structure before plaster is applied over the surface.

After plastering, only a narrow opening of approximately 4 mm remains visible. Specially designed Plaster Rail S-Hooks can then be inserted from any position along the rail to suspend clear perlon cables or steel cables. Unlike traditional systems, cables can be added or removed anywhere along the track without sliding them in from the end.

To protect the rail during plastering, a temporary cord should be inserted into the rail opening before plaster work begins to prevent plaster entering the track.
